Megawatt Displays Across the U.S.A. by lifestyle guru Bruce Littlefield is the electrifying hunt for those who make each Christmas the brightest, merriest, happiest Christmas ever.

Merry Christmas, America! is the lushly illustrated book that takes us on an adventure to the front lawns and doors of people in cities and towns from coast-to-coast who have a flair and fanaticism for doing Christmas bright so that they can give the world an illuminated, inflated, decorated gift.

Merry Christmas, America! features:
LIGHTS: Over-the-top decorating and entire festooned neighborhoods including everything from Seattle's fifty-year neighborhood tradition of "Candy Cane Lane" to the family in Arkansas who took their yard filled with millions of lights all the way to Supreme Court. These portraits of Christmas range from tacky to refined, outlandish to poignant - and the reasons they are created vary too, from a town-wide "Tacky Light Tour" in Virginia to a memorial in Florida of grazing electric deer and animated elves.
TRADITION: The elements and stories of Christmas from various family lore around the country, including the traditions surrounding trees, stockings, presents, Nativity scenes, Santa, Rudolph and more.
RESOURCE GUIDE: Decorating tips from the experts, such as how to find and wrap the perfect gift, how to repack lights and ornaments, and where to find the best Christmas decorations, Christmas movies, and entire Christmas-themed towns and neighborhoods.
-
