Hi, my name is Brenden and I live in Michigan! For the past few years I have been helping my uncle with his animated display and I decided I would like to start an animated display of my own! One problem, I don't have many lights and I am on a tight budget since I am still a teen. Does anyone have unused or old christmas lights that they could ship to me? Broken or not, I will take them! Also, any ideas of how to earn some extra cash? (I am still too young to get an actual job!)

Thank You,

Brenden Kilburn

Congratulations to the 11 Tacky Award winners of 2012. These enthusiasts received the most nominations for their Christmas display in 2012, so they will each receive one of our coveted annual Tacky Awards and a gift card to ChristmasLightsEtc.com. We are still rewarding the overall vote-getter with the large Tacky Award and this is the first year we are awarding mini Tacky Awards to all winners. Congratulations!

It went pretty well. The guy inside the house didn't turn the lights on in time but it still was a great proposal. And the period in the Question mark fell out but other than that it went well.

Do you have the most elaborate and outrageously decorated home each holiday season?
Are you the envy of your neighborhood?
Do people come from miles around to look at your decorated house?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then you are exactly what we're looking for. Contact us right away at ChristmasShowCasting@gmail.com with your name, address, contact info and photos of your decorated house from this year or previous years. Please include your city and state in the subject line. All submissions become the property of producer. A small number of houses from across the country will be selected to compete for a cash prize!

I have created the 23rd holiday display of ROBOLIGHTS for 2012 with more than 8 million lights spread over four acres. I guarantee it is the nation's largest most elaborate residential display in the nation. You can find out more details by visiting my facebook site here: https://www.facebook.com/ROBOLIGHTS
My display was also featured on Conan O'Brien where he had me make his holiday set in his Burbank Studio.

Last year I remember a house that you turned your radio on a certain station and it went along with the lights. Does anyone know who's house that was? And if they are doing it this year?

About Tacky Light Tours

A Tacky Light Tour is a trip made with family and friends from one home or business insanely decorated for Christmas to another usually made in a passenger car, but sometimes taken in limousines, vans and tour buses. Traditionally, displays with more than 10,000 Christmas lights qualify to be included among the very best Christmas displays found on the Tacky Light Tour.
