With the cost of copper going up the repair of old standard bulb strands may be the best way to keep repair cost down. The LED's that are purchased with replacement bulbs versus the old molded type is good for keeping the cost low too.

we like the bulbs that we can change.. some of the molded ones burn out quickly.. I would rather spend the extra money right off and be able to fix a bulb later .. rather than the whole string trashed

yeup, I bought several boxes of replacement LED C7's from CDI on the pre-sale. Works on standard C7 stands. Will be making them into a super stand here on my next free day.
