For blowups we use wood pallets and staple black landscape cloth over them and put large screw eyes on each corner of the palet. We place the pallets in the yard where we want the blow ups and screw the fan base to the middle of the pallet and use the scew eyes for the rope tie downs. This secures the blowups and keeps them dryer and out of the grass and dirt.
I used a kit that is a closed loop alarm circuit. Basically used speaker wire all the way through items if it got disconnected the alarm and lights came on.
