For almost 10 years I have been using the services of Vistaprint.com to have professional looking business cards, postcards and assorted other items printed for my display. We like to hand out the business cards to people we meet throughout the year but especially in the fall when we are at stores and see families checking out the newest commercial items at Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, etc. Personally we use the glossy cards and print on the back with directions to our house and the hours of operation.
We use the postcards to give out a little more info like the types of items we are collecting for our charity of choice. Recently Vistaprint has starting offering tons of personalized items and if you sign up for an account you will get cheap or free offers every couple of days via email.
BTW Vistaprint likes offering $50 gift certificates via LivingSocial.com every month or so. They are only $10 but you also pay a higher price for the items than you would if your were paying cash. It's still a good deal but you are not getting the same $50 worth of product you would if you paid for it via "cash".
