Making those labels stay on a cord can be one tough project. I have several ways to make them stay on there without coming off all on my website.

What is use is a silver Sharpie. Does great, and I have never head it come off. I have a few that have needed touch up's after several seasons.

I also use colored electrical tape on the ends to note obviously color. Works great on the tri color mini tree's where all the plugs are zip tieded togather for easy access.
