Do you want straight icicle lights? Tired of trying to figure out how to store icicle lights?

Look no further.

Make an icicle light hanger.
1x6 8' long.
Package of coffee cup hooks
various pulleys, eye bolts, and ropes.

Draw a series of lines down the length of it about a half inch apart.
Attach the cup hooks to the board along the line every couple of feet.
attach two eye bolts to the opposite side. About 2 feet in from each end.
Secure to hook to the rafters even with the eye bolts.
Run the rope from the first eyebolt on the board, to a pulley on first rafter, down to pulley on second eyebolt, up to pulley on rafter, down to hook near bench.
Now you can raise and lower the board to access the icicle lights.
Lower the lights and you can put several paper clips with washer attached to the bottom of the lights.
