Has anyone tried using the wireless remote switches to turn on there lights
I tried once with one of those driveway alarm units. I didn't get it to work with LOR, I was able to get it to work straight. I was just not familiar with the input controls to make it work properly. I was going to move out into the county, and I was tweaking it for that purpose, but I ended up not moving. So the project was scraped.
I bought these after Christmas last year. They use a key chain remote like on a car to turn the lights on from inside the house.
OH I think I know what you are talking about. I have seen two different kinds. We have one for the tree in the house, and it plays music, as well as turn the lights on/off. The other I bought for my parents, so they could turn the outside lights on/off.
We both like our respective unit. They really love the unit as they have never had good luck with timers, so this they can just turn off without going outside.
