If you are making a mega tree for the first time, the JUMP and portable hole.
Make a portable hole, and then attach a JUMP (Jack Up Mega Tree)
I made mine last year, and it worked like a charm.

Walter and Jackie Monkhouse did a brilliant job on it.

I know what you mean, but that way you can let it grow with your display. Plus, I just talked to a guy that had a 20' tree that was not a jump. He talked about how hard it was for him to get the lights up.

Now that Walter made a 3 stage, you almost don't even need a ladder to have a tree 17' tall.

yeah you are not going to pick it up. A dolly is a must.

We took out the only tree that is in the true display area. Plus this gives us lots of options.
