| Crumbs: 3/4 C flour
Liquid: C molasses C brown sugar 1 egg beaten 2 T Margarine t baking soda 1/8 t nutmeg C boiling water 1/8 t ginger 1/8 t cloves t cinnamon salt
Pour liquid mixture into piecrust; add crumb mixture on top of liquid. Carefully stir in part of crumbs with fingers. Stir in the centerjust slightly. Be sure crumbs are around the edge and center is liquid. Bake 450 for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350 for 20 minutes. Serve hot or cold. |
