1 cup unsalted butter, softened 1/2-cup PLUS additional confectioner's sugar, coating 2 cups sifted flour 1 cup finely chopped pecans 1 t vanilla Dash of salt
Beat butter and 1/2 sugar. Stir in flour, pecans, vanilla and salt. Shape into small ball or crescents. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in preheated over 325 until slightly browned. Roll in sugar while cookies are warm.
