• About the Christmas Lights

• We are collecting items for the troops deployed to Iraq, and are working with Fort Eustis and the USO for distribution of the items. The items we are looking to send the troops are as follows:
  
  Hard Candies, gum, mints, sunflower seeds,
  nuts, beef jerky
  Baby Wipes
  Powered Drinks pre-sweetened for the
  canteens
  DVD's, books and spiral notebooks, thank
  you cards
  Decks of cards, dice, footballs, soccer balls
  Hook magnets, picture frames (plexiglass)
  Microwave (dry packaged meals)
  
  
  This years light presentation is in memory and honor of those who serve.
  
  
  Remember: Veterans are our nations most precious natural resource

  Please come join us on Saturday November 28th. 2009 at 7PM for the Grand Illumination. There will be hot cocoa for the guests while suppllies last and the Official USO of Hampton Roads Santa Claus will be there for the children. There may be some Christmas Carolers for musical entertainment. Please come out and support the troops.
