Description Ridgecrest Christmas features over 10K lights choreographed to your favorite Christmas tunes on 97.9FM while watching the show. This free light show can be seen nightly from 5:00pm to 10:00pm Thanksgiving through New Year's Day. Parking is available Street side. Countless hours are placed throughout the year in making Ridgecrest Christmas Lights an incredible light show for all ages. It's a project that requires planning, preparation, and patience. We're giving our time and the show is privately funded. If you're planning to visit Ridgecrest Christmas, make it a day trip. Come to Ridgecrest, CA to find a fresh Christmas tree at a participating tree farm or local store. Then, visit one of the many restaurants serving BBQ, homemade burgers, to seafood. Finally, after topping off the tank with gas or food, come by and visit the light show. Note: In the event of inclement weather, the display might be turned off as a safety precaution. General Information; Display has over 10,000 lights One computer dedicated to running the show Well over 1 MILE of custom made extension cords ...80% of the display items were custom made�¢���¦ Display is controlled using Light-O-Rama Hardware and software (64 channels) And custom RGB Led�¢����s. Each song took well over one hour per minute of music to program the show. This year's show has 30 songs for your viewing and listening pleasure FM radio frequency is 97.9 Some show highlights: Dancing mini-trees Leaping arches House spot lights Custom star and much, much, more.
